Christopher J. Thompson was born in Macon, Georgia, in 1970. He graduated cum laude from Mercer University School of Law in 1996, where he was a member of the Mercer Law Review and served as the Editor of the Annual Survey of Georgia Law from 1995 through 1996. In addition, he was a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society.

Mr. Thompson's practice is devoted to nursing home litigation, cases involving medical malpractice, serious personal injuries and wrongful deaths, business and contract disputes, defamation and mass tort litigation.

He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1996. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia, as well as the Eleventh Circuit of Court of Appeals. Mr. Thompson is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
